C&A Partners With WFN To Save Water

European clothing company C&A has taken a step to reduce its water footprint by partnering with the Water Footprint Network, reports Just Style.

According to the news report, a retailer commission research has found that the amount of “grey water” used was five times higher in conventional cotton than in organic cotton.

Ruth Matthews, executive director of the Water Footprint Network emphasised that the studies confirm the “benefits of a move to organic cotton and shows that the water footprint of conventional farming can be reduced through improved farming practices.”
