Made By, a multi-stakeholder initiative that works with various organisations and NGOs to bring sustainability in fashion industry will hold a conference on ‘Sustainable Wet Processing’ in January at Amsterdam, says a news report in Fibre2fashion.
This conference will help textile brands know about sustainable alternatives and interact with experts in the field of sustainable wet processing supply chains. The experts would be talking about various innovations in the dyeing and finishing processes. For example, experts from Dystar will speak on “Synthetic Dyeing and Finishing” and representatives of Tanatex would talk about“Cotton Dyeing and Finishing: A Cradle-to-Cradle Approach”.
The conference will focus on how to make cotton, synthetics and denim dyeing sustainable and the various steps that can be taken to counter the adverse affects of dyeing processes in general.
